Thanks for reading and joining the discussion, and best wishes for 2012! It will be a big year, and at least two new species of penguin will join the march. Stay tuned!
This blog details fossil discoveries and research on the fascinating Sphenisciformes. The aim is to introduce the cast of fossil species (50 and counting), explore the evolutionary history of penguin bones, feathers and ecology, and explain how scientists learn about life in the past.
My own penguin research is funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation(NSF-DEB: 0949899), which is gratefully acknowledged here.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! i cant wait for the new pengiuns!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
